Biography

Born in Mexico City in1985.
He began his composition studies under the tutelage of Victor Rasgado.
He obtained a degree in Music Theory and Literature awarded by West London College of Music, and two master degrees, one in music composition, under the tutelage of Robin de Raaff and René Uijlenhoet at the Rotterdam Conservatory (Codarts) and the other in music technology awarded by the National Autonomous University of Mexico. During his time in the Netherlands he attended to the one year course of the Institute of Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague.

His works have been performed in Argentina, France, Mexico, the Netherlands and the UK by: Low Frequency Trio, Cuarteto Arcano, Duplum Duo, Trio de las Americas, Akom Ensemble, Trio Rodin among others.
Relevant works: Amarillo (2012) for string quartet, De Iridiscencia Cambiante (2012) for chamber ensemble, Estudio Sinestésico (2012) for electronics, Superficies (2013) for chamber ensemble, Verde (2014) for large ensemble, Superficies II (2014) for piano trio and live electronics.
He has participated in courses such as: the summer course for young composers of the National Arts Centre in Mexico in 2012 and 2013 editions and the Course in Composition for Symphonic Band in Oaxaca, Mexico in its 2012 edition.

His work has been selected in festivals like: 18 Eduardo Mata Festival in 2012, XXXV, XXXVI, XXXIX and 41 International Forum of New Music Manuel Enriquez in 2013, 2015,2017 and 2019, Barana World Jazz Festival in 2014, Gaudeamus Festival in 2015, the XLV and 49 International Cervantino Festival in 2017 and 2021.

He was finalist in the Barana World Jazz Festival, composition contest in 2014. His piece Return of the son of "Superficies II" was recorded by Low Frequency Trio in 2021.
